Roundup Pro Herbicide for Industrial Weed Control

Roundup Pro Herbicide is a post-emergent herbicide concentrate designed for use in industrial, turf, ornamental, forestry, roadside, utility rights-of-way, railroad management, and other listed terrestrial weed control areas. It provides broad-spectrum control of many annual and perennial weeds, woody brush, trees, and vines.

This water-soluble formula must be mixed with water or other carriers according to the label directions before application. Roundup Pro Herbicide binds tightly to soil particles and does not offer residual weed control. Weeds must be emerged at the time of application to be effectively controlled by the foliar application.

For optimal results, the spray coverage must be uniform and complete, but the foliage should not be sprayed to the point of runoff. Rainfall within 4 hours of application could wash the product off the foliage, and a second application may be necessary to achieve acceptable weed control. Roundup Pro Herbicide can be applied using various types of application equipment, as specified on the product label.

The active ingredient in Roundup Pro Herbicide inhibits an enzyme found only in plants and microorganisms, which is essential for the formation of specific amino acids. This mode of action is visible on most annual weeds within 2-4 days and on most perennial weeds within 7 or more days after application. However, Roundup Pro Herbicide does not provide residual weed control, and weed seeds in the soil will continue to germinate.

Roundup Pro Herbicide is effective against a broad spectrum of weeds, including crabgrass, hophornbeam copperleaf, Virginia copperleaf, foxtail, dwarf dandelion, ragweed, ryegrass, Russian thistle, wheat, wild oats, bermudagrass, cattail, horsetail, and pampas grass, among others as listed on the product label.
